Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of services provided by Bang Bang Bang PTE LTD (UEN {{COMPANY_UEN}}) across our salon brands (U Hair, EX Style, Coulisse Hair, Coulisse Heir, Ex Beauty). By booking, paying for, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide hair, beauty, and related treatment services at our physical outlets. Service descriptions, prices, and stylist availability are displayed at each outlet and may change without notice. Prices include GST where applicable.

2. Bookings

  • Appointments are held for your booked time; please arrive on time. We may require rescheduling if you are more than 15 minutes late.
  • We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling of chemical services (colouring, perming, straightening) and package redemptions.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit one session of a multi-session package, or be charged a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service.

3. Payment

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, PayNow, and prepaid wallet credit. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) for Singapore outlets; Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) for Malaysian outlets.

4. Prepaid wallet

You may top up a prepaid wallet for use across outlets of the same brand. Wallet balances are:

  • Non-refundable in cash, except where required by law or at our discretion for service issues.
  • Transferable to another person only with our written approval and verification of both parties.
  • Not redeemable across different brands — a U Hair wallet cannot be spent at EX Style.
  • Subject to a maximum balance per customer (currently SGD 10,000 / MYR 30,000 per brand).
  • Recorded in an append-only ledger — you may request a full transaction history at any time.

Bonus credits (e.g., “top up $100, get $5 bonus”) are promotional and redeemable only for services and products in-store; they cannot be withdrawn in cash.

5. Packages (multi-session plans)

  • Packages are valid from purchase date for the validity period stated at purchase (typically 6 or 12 months).
  • Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period and are not refundable.
  • Package sessions are tied to the customer who purchased them and are non-transferable without our written approval.
  • Packages are brand-specific; sessions purchased at one brand cannot be redeemed at another.

6. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for services already rendered. If a service is materially defective (e.g., severe allergic reaction, clear workmanship failure), contact us within 7 days and we will investigate. Remedies, at our discretion, may include re-performance at no charge, partial refund to wallet, or full cash refund.

7. Your obligations

  • Disclose allergies, medical conditions, and prior chemical treatments before any service.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity for loyalty or package benefits.
  • Treat our staff with respect. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, or unsafe.

8. Liability

We take reasonable care in all services, but salon treatments carry inherent risks (allergic reaction, scalp sensitivity, variation in results due to hair condition and history). To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability for any single claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Photos and media

We may, with your separate consent, take photos of your hair before and after service for your service record. Use of any photo for marketing requires a distinct opt-in; you may decline or revoke marketing consent at any time without affecting your service record.

10. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance. Wallet balances and packages purchased before a change remain governed by the Terms in effect at purchase, to the extent more favourable to you.

12. Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore (for services rendered in Singapore) or Malaysia (for services rendered in Malaysia). If you have a complaint, please contact us first at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} — we aim to resolve issues in good faith. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to mediation before any court proceedings.
